What is a NUN RUN?

A nun run is an opportunity for girls ages 16 and older to make a visit to a community of religious sisters and to see their life in action!

Where are we going?

This October 19-22 we are visiting the Community of the Beatitudes in Denver, Colorado.

Why should I go?

For I know well the plans I have in mind for you, plans for your welfare and not for woe, so as to give you a future of hope." (Jer 29:11) God has a plan for each of us, one full of joy and hope. Interested in learning how to hear His voice? Want to know more about discerning your vocation and discovering the future God has in mind for you? If you are 16 or older, come away for a weekend of talks, prayer, quiet and recreation designed just for you.

Registration deadline is: Oct 12

Founded in France in 1973, the Catholic Community of the Beatitudes is one of the "new communities" established in the Church after Vatican II. It's spirituality is both Eucharistic and Marian, inspired by the Carmelite tradition and living out the spirit of the Beatitudes (Matthew chapter 5). It gathers together the faithful of all states of life:

-190 brothers (110 priests)

-310 consecrated sisters

-350 lay members

Spread all over the world (50 houses in 30 countries, on 6 continents), all the members of the Community share a common vocation of prayer and fraternal communion, combining a marked contemplative dimension with numerous apostolic and missionary activities.
